JANE

Tēnā koutou! I’m Jane, a fully qualified and registered Early Childhood teacher. I hold a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Waikato and a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the Manukau Institute of Technology. As the Centre Owner and Manager, I am deeply passionate about creating a nurturing, inspiring, and joyful environment where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn. My vision is for our centre to be a place filled with laughter, curiosity, and meaningful learning—where tamariki can confidently explore, discover, and grow each day. I am dedicated to upholding our centre’s philosophy, ensuring that our team, families, and children thrive together as one vibrant learning community.

MEGGIE

Kia ora! I’m Meggie, a fully qualified and registered Early Childhood teacher, and I’ve been proudly teaching since 2012. Working with young children is more than just my profession, it’s my passion and joy. I love being part of their learning journeys, guiding and discovering alongside them as they explore the world with curiosity and wonder. Outside of teaching, I treasure spending time with my family and friends, sharing laughter and making memories together. I also have a love for travelling, as it allows me to experience new places, cultures, and perspectives, something I bring back into my teaching to inspire creativity and connection in the classroom.

ANNIE

Talofa lava! My name is Annie Tioa, and I am a fully qualified, registered early childhood teacher. Originally from the beautiful islands of Samoa, I have proudly called Auckland home since 1995. I am a devoted mum to three wonderful children who continue to inspire my work every day. Since graduating in 2005, I have had the joy of teaching in a variety of early childhood settings, each shaping my passion for supporting young learners. I believe that every child is a unique gift with endless potential, and I am dedicated to helping them grow into confident, capable, and curious learners. For me, the early years are the heart of lifelong learning, which sets a strong foundation for the bright futures and successes that await them.

MICHELLE

Hello! Kia ora! Nǐ hǎo! My name is Michelle, and I am a fully qualified, registered teacher at Jolly Stars Early Learning Centre. After completing my Bachelor of Design and my Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education in 2019, I discovered my true passion, nurturing young minds through creativity and care. I am so excited to be part of the Jolly Stars whānau, where every day is filled with laughter, imagination, and endless opportunities to learn alongside the children. Their curiosity and joy inspire me to bring creativity into everything we do, turning each moment into a chance to explore, discover, and grow together.

JAHLEENE

Kumusta! My name is Jahleene. I am a licensed professional teacher from the Philippines and a qualified, registered early childhood educator. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree to further enhance my knowledge and teaching practice. I chose this profession because I believe education has the power to inspire and transform lives. Working with young children brings me joy and fulfillment as I guide them through their early learning journey, supporting their curiosity, confidence, and growth. I am passionate about creating a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.

SOZAN

Kia ora! I’m Sozan and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the Jolly Stars whānau. As an unqualified teacher and a proud mum of five wonderful children, I bring a wealth of life experience, care, and understanding to my role. I hold Level 5 qualifications in Early Childhood Education, and I’m passionate about continuing my studies to become a qualified and registered teacher. I have a passion for creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where tamariki feel confident to explore, learn, and grow. Building strong relationships with children and their families is something I truly value, and it brings me so much joy to be part of each child’s unique learning journey. I’m excited to learn and grow alongside your little ones!

RANJEETA

Bula ! my name is Ranjeeta ,I am a unqualified teacher. Originally from Fiji islands , Been in Auckland since 2013. Working with young children has always been my passion. I believe that the early years are the most important stage of a child’s life, as this is when they begin to explore, learn, and develop their sense of identity and belonging. Also, I believe every child is unique and capable, and my goal as a teacher is to support their growth through play-based learning, exploration, and meaningful relationships. I enjoy planning activities that encourage creativity, curiosity, and confidence in each child.
